Washington in Pittsburgh. Dr. Dawn was born and raised in Nebraska (Go Huskers!) and met Dr. Zack at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2008.
Dr. Dawn Spale attended Wayne State College in Nebraska while playing softball. She has a passion for being active and continues to play sports and participate in 5Ks and local Crossfit groups. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2012 and moved to Pennsylvania with Dr. Zack so they could eventually start their own practice together. In 2017, just before their son was born, they took over ownership of Allegheny Health and Physical Medicine and they have been helping the community ever since!
In 2010, Dr. Dawn suffered a debilitating disc herniation while playing softball on a very cold day. Chiropractic care, along with decompression and corrective exercises is what prevented her from needing a surgery. She continues to get adjusted on a regular basis today while educating patients on the importance of overall wellness care when it comes to chiropractic and the nervous system. Dr. Dawn also uses functional medicine to investigate issues into reproductive inflammation, infertility, food allergies, and other sources of illness outside of the Western medicine model of care. She specializes in chiropractic care for pregnant patients and newborns, patients with advanced degenerative disc disease or disc injuries, as well as sports injuries and neuropathy.
Dr. Dawn, Dr. Zack and Wyatt reside in Lower Burrell with their therapy dog, Cole, who can be seen at all offices!
